Audition Information: Have 32 measures prepared to sing. It doesn’t need to be from the show but should be a strong character song that showcases your vocal abilities. An accompanist will be provided. There will be some cold reading as well. Actors should be available for call backs on Dec. 17th from 7pm to 10pm. The first read through will be Dec. 22nd. The first rehearsal will be Jan. 5. Rehearsals will run M-Th 7pm-10pm in the month of January and M-F 7pm-10pm the month of February. The show runs Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons Feb. 27 to Mar. 8. Prepare to present any and all conflicts with that schedule at the time of the audition. Conflicts will be taken into account during casting but will not necessarily exclude you from the process.

Director’s note: All ages are encouraged to audition, and the directing team is willing to work around conflicts as needed for the right actor. Be prepared to do cold reads from the script as well as sing 16-32 measures of a song of your choosing. An accompanist will be provided. The song needn’t be from the show, but should showcase your voice at it’s best, as well as allow you to convey character and emotion during the song. All things being equal, we will be casting on the side of character strength over vocal prowess, so just bring your best and let it shine through!"
